Many of the beaches in the East Coast are rocky with a variety of sizes and colours of rocks. For the most part they are rounded from thousands of years of the salty Atlantic waves striking them over and over. On warm summer days the sunshine shines down on rocks which become warm even hot to step on with your bare feet.
