I’m drawn to painting because it allows me to slow down and truly notice the world around me—the way light shifts across a landscape, the quiet presence of growing things, and the small, fleeting moments that might otherwise go unseen. Painting creates a space where I can pause and stay with those moments a little longer.

There’s something grounding in translating what I see and feel into colour and texture. Each piece becomes a way of holding onto a sense of time, place, and atmosphere—and sharing that quiet beauty and connection with others.
