Wild Abundance Now Available For Sale

I didn't set out to paint an entire sunflower field. It started small — a handful of stems in a glass vase, set against a wall of hot pink that I couldn't resist. But something about that first study stuck with me, and I kept thinking about what it would look like scaled all the way up.

Wild Abundance (oil on canvas, 40" × 30") is the answer. Dozens of blooms, all turning toward a dusk sky in blush and lavender, built up in thick, layered strokes until the surface itself has weight and texture. It's the most ambitious piece I've painted to date — and easily the most fun I've had with color, letting that same complementary palette from my coastal work stretch into something warmer and wilder.
