They say there is a forest where Christmas begins each year—a place where the air glows warm even in winter, and where the trees themselves remember the very first spark of holiday magic.
In this forest, the evergreens stand tall like quiet guardians, their branches tipped with soft touches of snow, each needle catching light like tiny stars.
As December approaches, the sky blushes with the colours of warmth - ember reds, golden oranges, and soft rose hues - as though the setting sun has wrapped the whole forest in a festive embrace.
According to the old story, this is the moment the world begins to glow. It starts with a single tree, deep in the centre of the woods. Its roots warm the frozen ground, its branches hum with a gentle, hopeful energy, and one by one, the other trees awaken to join in the celebration.
A hush falls over the forest— the kind of hush that feels like holding your breath just before a miracle happens.
And then, the colours rise. Not from lanterns or candles, but from within the forest itself— as though joy has its own light, and this is the one place unafraid to shine.
Some say that if you follow the glow, you’ll hear the softest sounds— snow settling, birds dreaming, and maybe even the faint jingle of something distant… a reminder of childhood awe and the promise that magic always returns.
This painting captures that enchanted moment;
when winter stands still, the forest draws in a warm breath, and Christmas quietly begins again.
