Layers accumulate, disappear and resurface across a heavily worked field of earth, blue-grey and charcoal. Within the darker mass, a pale expanse emerges—not quite light, not quite landscape—while fragments of colour remain embedded like traces of what came before.
Reverence explores the quiet tension between presence and absence, permanence and erosion. Rather than concealing its history, the painting allows previous marks, gestures and imperfections to remain visible. What has been covered is never entirely lost.
