East Coast Calling captures the moment when the Atlantic speaks and the land listens. Inspired by Peggy’s Cove, this piece opens wide to sea and sky, where vast blues roll outward and the horizon feels endless, charged with movement and breath. The ocean is alive here—restless, rhythmic—its surface shifting between calm and surge, carrying stories far older than the shoreline.
The granite foreground rises in fractured planes of pale stone and warm earth tones, weathered and resolute, shaped by wind, salt, and time. These rocks do not resist the sea; they meet it, holding space at the edge where land and water negotiate their eternal bond. Above, the sky churns with motion and light, clouds stretching and dissolving as if the weather itself is in conversation with the coast.
This is a place of return and recognition. East Coast Calling is not just a view, but a feeling—the magnetic pull of the ocean, the quiet insistence of the land, the sense that something vast is reaching outward, asking you to remember where you come from.
