Storm Clouds over Barn captures the dramatic beauty of a changing sky, where calm and chaos meet on the horizon. Deep, turbulent blues sweep across the canvas, interrupted by brilliant streaks of pink and coral that illuminate the gathering storm.
Below, a quiet rural landscape rests beneath the immense sky. Dark silhouettes of trees and distant structures stand against the fading light, while the rich, earthy reds of the foreground create a striking contrast to the movement above.
There is both tension and tranquility in this painting—a sense of nature’s power unfolding over a landscape that remains still. The expressive textures and bold colours invite the viewer to experience that fleeting moment when the last warmth of daylight meets the approaching storm.
A celebration of contrast, atmosphere, and the extraordinary beauty found in an ordinary moment.
